Full-time project Manager

As part of the Configuration Management team, candidate will be responsible for providing both Data Management and hardware CM support. Will manage and track developmental design documentation. Will coordinate with various external CCB forums. Will submit changes to Requirements Specifications using the DOORS change proposal system. Work will be performed on site at the Naval Surface Warfare Center/Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. Must be able to perform with minimal supervision and function as the main contact. Duties will include participating in Staff Meetings, monthly CM Staff Meetings, and Program Design Reviews. Will assist in developing presentations and other meeting materials and posting data to SharePoint. Will provide Data Management and CM assistance to perodical events. Will generate and manage the Drawing Tree and Configuration Item list. Will participate in the Technical Direction Agent (TDA) Drawing Review and Approval process. Will track Government Furnished Information (GFI) deliveries to the Program Office and Production Contractors.

Required Education: Minimum – High School Diploma

Required Skills:
At least six (6) years experience in Configuration Management

Preferred Skills:
-NDIA and/or CMII (ICM) Certification as a Configuration Management Specialist, Requirements Manager or Configuration Manager. -Understanding of MIL-HDBK-61A, CM Guidance. -Working knowledge of Hardware Configuration Item tracking tools such as the Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) and repository tools such as TeamCenter Enterprise and SharePoint.
