Full-time Project Manager - Financial Systems

The Project Manager is responsible for directing and managing Global Information Systems projects from Initiation through Closing and Stabilization. The Project Manager is expected to provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of all project activities to enable maximum value throughout the project lifecycle. This is accomplished by utilizing PMO Project Management processes and tools as well as industry best practices. The Project Manager is the key liaison between Project Stakeholders, the Leadership Team, Business Owners and the Project Management Office.
Project intake development and preliminary Scope Statements
Requirements gathering, scope development, scheduling and planning
Monitoring and reporting project status in the areas of budget, schedule, risks, issues, and project change requests
Adherence to internal audit requirements as defined by the PMO Software Development Life Cycle standards
Communication with Project Sponsors, stakeholders, PMO and other Leaders
Monitoring of resource utilization and alignment with project needs
Lead project toll gate reviews
Provide problem solving, root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions as required to support the project or program
Provide project management training/ mentoring of company methodology and toolsets
Write RFPs and manage vendor/software selection processes
Possess in depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Systems
Experience with SAP, Cognos TM1 required
Experience with Fusion Ops, Cognos and SAP BW reporting required
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint and other planning tools
Ability to define and execute project principles, procedures, methodologies and toolsets
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present effectively to Senior Executives
Ability to read, write, and speak English. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Mental ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with senior management, vendors and other employees.
Ability to operate independently and follow general guidelines.
Have a positive, driving outlook to energize and motivate teams
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or management information systems
Project Management training and PMP certification preferred
ITIL knowledge a plus
10+ years of professional experience, ideally with a minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience
Experienced in working in a PMO and able to project manage multiple projects
Strong leadership experience
Demonstrated understanding of software implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices
