The Net Developer will be part of the Applications Development Team and responsible for assisting in the design, administration, security, performance, availability, and troubleshooting of the environments that support NorthMarq Capital and NorthMarq Companies business systems. Specifically, the .Net Developer will be responsible for stored procedures, code development as to SQL, SharePoint, and Team Foundation Services. In addition, collaborate across project teams, provide estimates, and build development best practices.

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of one or more key Microsoft solution technologies including ASP.NET, SharePoint, and SQL Server. This is a motivated self-starter that interacts well with IT team members. Additionally, the candidate is expected to act professionally with internal and external customers.

Hands-on experience with the .NET Framework and C# and/or VB.NET.
Exposure to frameworks and patterns such as MVC, MVVM, Entity Framework, and Unity.
Experience delivering solutions using industry standard SDLC methodologies.
Fundamental understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
Provide SharePoint in-depth technical and design expertise for business.
Exposure to database design and development on SQL Server 2008/ 2012.
Extensive experience working on web sites and web based applications.
Experience with web content management systems highly desired.
Ensure all systems maintain quality uptime and are configured appropriately.
Schedule and coordinate installations with users, facility management, IT technicians, contractors, and vendors.
Act as a technical lead and mentor other IT personnel.
Install new software release and system upgrades; evaluate and install patches; and resolve software-related problems and follow vendors Best Practices.
Regularly monitor performance of the application environment.
Evaluate existing systems and recommend possible enhancements to systems or network components.
Align company with new technologies when appropriate.
Act as 3rd level support for all applications.
Must be disciplined, dynamic and flexible to manage multiple projects and tasks, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.
Must be able to operate autonomously with little supervision to achieve desired goals.
Work weekends/nights on occasion for maintenance or critical system failure.
Assist in the maintenance of physical and logical structure with SQL Server environment.
Regularly monitor performance of the SQL Server environment.
Recommend configuration changes to improve performance based on business needs.
4+ years hands on programming experience in Microsoft C#.Net 4.0, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, XML, Java script, and Web Services.
Minimum 3 years of SharePoint experience.
Minimum 5 years of development experience with Microsoft technologies.
Strong knowledge and background in Windows Workflow Foundation a plus.
Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
Solid understanding of development framework and coding best practices.
Candidate must have the ability to complete tasks with very little supervision and superb ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field. In lieu of a degree, professional experience is an acceptable substitute. Our team is looking for demonstrated continual learners.
