Full-time NOC Administrator

NOC Administrator
Move, Inc. currently has an opportunity for a NOC Administrator.
SHIFT: 4x10 schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, graveyard shift 10pm - 8am
You will be part of a 24/7 team supporting the companys production environment and will be responsible for monitoring and validating system alerts, performing initial troubleshooting of servers, services and applications. During your shift you will be required to work cross-group with responsible teams for issue resolution and maintain ownership of issues until they are resolved.
Monitor all production networks, servers, applications and services and respond to alerts according to standard process.
Respond to escalations from alerting systems, customers or Partner NOCs
Escalate and communicate issues to system owners and interested parties
Track and manage Incidents fully to ensure proper Operational information is captured
Create and maintain knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures and processes.
Open and run conference calls for diagnosis and remediation of issues.
Fully document and communicate shift-turnover reports.
Staff the 24x7 Network Operations Center.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting of Key Performance Indicators
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience working in a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment or Helpdesk with Windows and Linux systems
Ability to be proactive and work well in a pressured and growing environment.
Ability to think out of the box and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priority dynamically and maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
Have a basic fundamental understanding of networking and web based applications.
Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving mission critical issues.
Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with attention to details.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be a team player and be able to work effectively with peers to create a positive environment.
Must be willing to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays with flexibility to work additional shifts on short notice
Must be proficient with MS Office Applications.
Familiarity with enterprise class monitoring/management systems and associated technologies, including: Microsoft System Center (SCOM), Solarwinds, Keynote, New Relic, Nagios Cacti and Splunk.
Experience with a Service Desk or Trouble-Ticketing software.
