Content Acquisition Manager
Move (operator of looking to hire Content Acquisition Manager for our Rentals product team ( This Content Manager will manage a key component of Rentals business strategy of aggregating content from multiple data providers. This position will be responsible for identifying content prospects, outreach to those prospects to sign them to content agreements, and ongoing relationship management with those prospects that turn into contentpartners. In addition, the content manager will be responsible for working with all necessary internal and external parties to onboard new data partners, as well as review and monitor exceptionreporting and monitoring to endure the quality and breadth of content. Success for this individualwill be measured by the quantity and quality of the listings fed by the content partners they sign.
This role requires an energetic and outgoing personality, who can effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects, get a commitment (and signed agreement), andthen nurture and maintain trustedrelationshipsover time with those content partners. Due to the complexities of our systems and data feeds in general, an ability to understand file formats (XML, CSV, etc.), file transfer protocols (FTP, web services, etc.), data type formats, and data manipulation techniques are extremely beneficial as well.
The role requires a self-motivated worker who can work both independently (especially during prospect outreach), and in concert with other internal stakeholders (especially during the on-boarding process), and who demonstrates strong judgment and reliability in order to gain the trust of the'ssales organization (who might also call into some of the same prospects).
This role will report into Director - Product Management, Rentals and can be based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Outbound calling and meetings with content prospects to sign new business
Executing content provider agreements
On-boarding new content partners
Maintain and monitor ongoing data feeds
Act as single point of contact for all partner questions, concerns (internal and external)
Maintain dashboard of data quality, listing counts, and uptime
Assist with quality scoring for partners based on data feeds
Coordinate recurring meetings with key internal stakeholders to update on progress and review opportunities
Provide sales management with direction on revenue opportunities as they develop
Ability to work remotely
Some travel required, less than 20%
Additional Duties:
Prepare ad hoc reporting/analysis
Participate in input into de-duplication and scoring functionality
Attend industry MITS standards meetings
Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years experience
Must be able to manipulate multiple file formats, including XML, Excel, and flat files
Must understand basicdata transfer protocols, including FTP and web services
Proficient at using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
