We are seeking an experienced Account Director for managing IT services of our financial clients.
Pay rate: $130K-$140K + bonus
Location: Chicago
Key things we look for:
Banking and financial services experience is a must
Onshore/Offshore management experience is a must
Needs to have technical development background

Key responsibilities:
• Manage existing large financial accounts
- Liaising with and managing all offshore coordination for these accounts
- Managing receivables for these accounts
• Conducting technical sales demonstrations and ensuring adequate sales and technical support service.
• Creating sales or service contracts; developing sales plans to introduce IT solutions in new markets;
• Developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
• Act as single point contact for client for all product and service offerings from Polaris Software Lab India Ltd
• Ensure client satisfaction across all projects and services delivered.
• Ensure customer feedback is documented, channeled and acted upon, and that all grievances/problems are resolved to the satisfaction of the client.
• Ensure coverage of all client locations through periodic visits
• Share customer intelligence and feedback internally
• Coordinate client visits to offshore facilities to enhance existing relationships and project opportunities
• Stay fully updated on the status of all projects at all times; participate in weekly, monthly and other status review conference calls/meetings.
• Ensure all contractual documentation are in place
• Establish and maintain client relationships with both technology and business users from across customer businesses.
• Manage the account to maintain the health of the projects within the account. This includes the work of invoicing, resource allocation, skill rotation (offshore vs onsite) in discussion with the client managers (depending on the requirement of the various projects) and the identification of skill hires required from the US geography with the help of the Resource Management Function of Polaris
• Work with the Product Managers to identify the marketing strategies that can be used to tap the new trend with Polaris’ existing products (Intellect Suite).
• Carry out marketing campaigns within the respective business units within Citigroup for the products/ domain skills. This will include cross marketing using specific campaigns within the existing clients. These campaigns are spaced over a period of a month and include activities like:
o Arranging speakers from within Polaris for a specific event connected to the industry
o Publishing and making available case- studies for the client’s business unit
o Arranging and inviting the business heads/ users for a demo of our product capabilities
o Work with Marketing (Offshore and Onsite) to produce adequate collateral such as flyers, company brochures, product brochures, etc.
