Global Application Support Team Leader
This role will be responsible for managing a small team of release engineers and support analysts. Additionally, will work remotely and lead process/methodology of a similar sized team in Manila, Philippines.
As the Global Application Support Team Leader, you will play a key role in the support of the applications and teams in the Data, Surveys, and Technology line of business. In this position, you will set up and maintain ASP.NET web applications as well as diagnose and correct application issues relating to application deployment and configuration. You will work with business analysts, software developers, and project managers in order to ensure the proper function of various client web applications. Additionally, you will oversee a team of Application Support Analysts and Release Engineers, and work to provide standards for the release management and application support processes.

Performance Objectives:

• Provide careful, detail-oriented resolution of support requests from project teams.
• Help identify ways to support our products more efficiently.
Clients
• Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients.
• Effectively communicate with clients and project team
• Attend team or client meetings as appropriate to present support related issues or suggestions.
Financial
• Alert lead consultants or project manager about out-of-scope work in a timely manner.
• Assist in developing standardized work processes, tools, and methodologies that improve quality and profitability.
People
• This position will require verbal and written communication with many different types of associates: technical and non-technical, local and remote.
• Builds relationships internally and collaborates effectively to manage dependencies between the project team and technical team.
• Demonstrates natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in web application support or related computing field.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• T-SQL experience is strongly preferred.
• IIS experience is strongly preferred.
• ASP.NET/C# exposure is ideal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work with distributed teams and particularly associates located in different countries is required.
• Knowledge with using Team Foundation Server and JIRA is ideal..
• Experience supporting some form of Single Sign On is a bonus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; a self-motivated top performer
• Must be open to 25-30% travel potential
