We
have an exciting opportunity for a Benefits
Manager in Falls Church, VA.

The Benefits Manager serves as the point of contact for all benefits and benefits
systems matters for USIS.

The primary responsibilities of the Benefits Manager are but not limited to the following:

Works
collaboratively with the Vice President of Human Resources to develop and
refine health and welfare benefits strategy for the company, and to
implement that strategy, working with internal and external partners.
Communicates
and interfaces with internal and external partners such as: benefit plan
consultants, actuaries, investment advisors, legal advisors and
administrators to ensure programs meet objectives.
Responsible
for benefit plan compliance under applicable federal and state laws including
PPACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and ADA.
Stays current on legislation governing benefits and make
recommendations to keep benefits compliant.
Manage
all aspects of the annual enrollment process.
Develops
and executesan annual communications plan for benefits to include
new hire orientation, benefit plan education/awareness, benefits meetings,
newsletter articles, and annual enrollment.
Oversee
the ongoing maintenance of employee benefit data to support timely and
accurate benefit plan administration.
Work with IT and Payroll to develop, monitor and refine processes,
including electronic interfaces to support payroll processing and benefit
vendor data transmissions.
Leads
the annual renewal and Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Train
and supervise benefits staff in the management of all benefits including Medical,
Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, AD&D, COBRA, STD and LTD.

Experience in
benefits plan compliance, to include PPACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA and
state compliance.
Benefits
certification preferred,
Plan
design, RFP and service provider selection experience for health and
welfare programs.
